ring and pinion drive gears.

enclosed and vented. Helical gears
run silently in oil bath.

Full-width aluminum hub with cast
iron brake drum. Brake linings
conform to Quality Control Test
Procedure SAE J661a.

Axle can be easily removed,
allowing wheel to slip out of spline.
Entire drive assembly remains un-
disturbed when wheel is removed.

Hinged rear fender section
swings up to allow easy roll-out
of rear wheel.

adjustment of suspension to

Long, progressively wound
springs, and sealed, double-action,
hydraulic damping unit.

roller bearings.
