FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE
Antique "Frisian" chip carved wooden thermometer from the Netherlands.
Measuring 31cm (12") top to bottom, 12cm (5") at the widest.
Estimated age is approximately Circa 1920 or earlier.
The thermometer has survived in good condition, previously displayed with some rubs in the wood on its edges.
The glass component is intact and there are no cracks, losses or repairs to the wood.
It is overall a bit darkened from age.
