    Description

    This is a Twist Type doorbell from the late 1800's. There are no markings on the bell but it is very similar to the R&E twist bells. There is no noticeable wear on the bell so it probably had very little, if any, actual use. The bell works perfectly and produces a nice ring as the key is turned in either direction.
    Except for the back plate on the bell everything else, including the key is made of brass. The bell is 3 1/2" in diameter and the total bell assembly is about 5 1/2" by 4 ".  The key measures 1 1/2" by 5".
