  • Condition: These maps were made up so pilots didn't have to carry scores of maps in the cockpit. I first came to see these "Australian fold" maps when in Vietnam. The same practice became popular at the Army flight school at Fort Rucker. Size is like a laptop, and have to flip pages to see where you want to go. These maps are prized by people in the area---and they look for fishing holes, etc. If you flew at Fort Rucker---you can see the old stage fields, ranges, etc.
