Gargoyles were first used as accents in architecture and to scare away evil spirits in medieval times, mostly in cathedrals and castles. Add this majestic decoration to your palace! Would also be an elegant touch gracing your garden gate or cottage door.
The Leaf Man or Green Man of ancient pagan, druidic, and neo-pagan belief is a nature spirit of woodland places, plants, trees, & foliage. He represents fertility, springtime, and renewal and roams the woodlands of Europe in legend. Also called Green Jack, Jack-in-the-Green and Green George he is depicted as a face peering through leaves, usually Oak, which was sacred to druids, and a crown of leaves as a symbol of divinity.
Very large knocker is new in box, and measures roughly 20 inches high, 8 inches wide, and 3 inches deep.
PLEASE NOTE: This item will weather naturally if outside.  To retain original finish simply spray with a protective clear-coat before exposing to the elements.
