HOBBIT Corset from the HOBBITON FILM SET

Description

One corset from the hobbiton Film set in Matamata New Zealand.
This was made to hang on the clotheslines of the hobbit houses.
It has seen the weather, so is sun faded.
This exact corset is in the films 'The Hobbit'
After the films were complete, all of the garments from the original film set were replaced.
I had the privilege of remaking all these clothes, so I was sent the originals to copy.
I still have these in my workroom, so now I need to make room for new projects!
Amazing piece of film history.
This corset is made to fit a full scale female hobbit.
Measurements are as follows;
Waist 82 cm / 32 inches (can be extended by loosening lacing at the back)
Length (from waist to hem at front) 37 cm / 14 1/2 inches
It is made from cotton upholstery fabric.
