The Ibanez UEW15E Concert Ukulele offers a new look and fresh approach to ukuleles. The Concert size body is modeled after the Ibanez EW Series Acoustic Guitar's distinctive single cutaway shape. The UEW15E features an all-flamed mahogany body construction and an open pore finish. The body is also adorned with a beautiful maple rosette. The open pore finish complements the mahogany grain beautifully. Guitar players will appreciate the low action and the ease of playability. The mahogany neck is topped with a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard.
The UEW15E pumps out a lot of sound despite its diminutive size, and the mahogany top delivers a tone that is bright, yet warm with enough volume that you will be heard while playing with a group. When it's time to plug in, the UEW15E can be amplied through an Ibanze Under Saddle Pickup system featuring a UK-300T preamp and onboard tuner. A set of Grover chrome open gear tuners rounds out the hardware. Gig bag not included.
