Fits
:
Mounts in a JBL Synthesis (Rane Flex) half-width rack frame or 2 will mount side-by-side in a standard 19 inch rack using the Rane FHL2 horizontal link kit (not included). Designed to be powered by the JBL SPP-RPS2 (Rane FRS8) rackmount power supply which will power up to 8 devices. May also be powered by the Rane RS1 'line-lump' ac power supply or the ultra-rare Rane VC18 step-up power supply for automotive uses

All features are similar to the FME15 except for the actual eq center frequencies and the range switch selects from +-6 or +-3 dB ranges rather than +-12 or +-6 dB ranges

Used, tested, working perfectly. Has minor cosmetic scratches. (see pics). DOES NOT INCLUDE A POWER SUPPLY which is required for use.

NOT INCLUDED
. A single Rane RS1 is capable of powering 2 of these units using daisychained RJ12 splitters. Rane recommends using only balanced audio connections when powering multiple units from a single power supply.
Further Info:
Unique eq is a special version of the Rane FME15 that Rane built for JBL for their Synthesis ultra-high-end home theater systems. Features 15 bands on targeted center frequencies rather than ISO standard 2/3 octave frequencies. Has no bands below 100 Hz since those JBL systems had separate equalizers just for the subwoofers. These are ideal for instrument rigs, guitar rigs, vocal channels, or other uses where the lowest several bands of a conventional equalizer aren't used anyway and having more bands where they are actually needed is helpful. These have +6/-6 dB of cut/boost rather than the
+12/-12 dB of cut/boost on the 'normal' FME15, these also have an ultrafine
+3/-3 dB
setting for very precise tonal shaping. I have 2 of these remaining: they have gray faces.
