This box has a vibrant green color and an interesting pattern around the center. It does have a chip up towards the hinge which can be seen in the photos. The hinge works well and the lid snaps shut tightly. It is engraved with the word sterling and then a crown and then a makers Mark on the edge plus the number 3496.Could be a nice little pillbox.
