Original script from the 1970's classic LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE.  Starring Michael Landon, Melissa Gilbert, Melissa Sue Anderson, and Karen Grassle.  Original scripts from this show are increasingly rare, especially the earlier seasons and memorable episodes such as this story in the quest for gold.
This script is a final draft with all blue pages dated December 31, 1976, and is titled GOLD RUSH.  In this expanded 2 hour episode, the Ingalls and the Edwards travel west in the hopes of mining enough gold to get them through a bad stretch after a season of failed crops.  Written as a 2 part episode with different writers for each, it was ultimately combined and the script presented and produced as a 2 hour episode.  The first part is 55 pages, followed by a title page for part two, which the page numbers continuing at 56, and running through page 103.
Note:  In reviewing the last page which doesn't have "The End" I checked the episode.  It looks like there should be another 1 or 2 pages to the script.  It ends with the Ingalls/Edwards wagons on their return home encountering another wagon with a young couple headed for their shot at gold and the script describes them and ends.  The actual scene with the dialogue is not quite a minute before ending in a lengthy long pullback shot to show the wagons going in opposite directions, each with a long way to go.  So what's missing is the final dialogue to that scene.  The script shows normal signs of wear for it's age and has no markings, so possibly an office copy.
