A delightful, sweet-sounding and mellow toned unique curly solid Koa ukulele made in Hawaii. I bought this instrument from a sweet woman in Vermont many years ago. She was sad to see it go, and now I understand why. You can see the rope binding on the body front and back. And the unique inlay along the fret board. This ukulele was made by a highly skilled luthier. The wooden violin style tuners are original save for 1 that matches well. It stays in tune remarkably well and has been stored in a case (shown and included) with a humidifier.
Playability is excellent, very light, comfortable to hold, with an easy action.
All parts are original aside from the strings which I replaced recently.
A newer velvet lined Uke Crazy case is included, along with a passive humidifier.
