Your bid is for this vintage ladies Compact...It dates to around 1940's-1950's era...The Compact is marked Elgin American on the inside...It also has the original powder puff...It also has original soft case and original box...The box has the numbers 1259/021 and D51 on one end...The top part of the compact is done in squares of mother of pearl and has darker colors of mother of pearl at the corners or could be abalone ...............

... This has been used...The powder cake is all gone...The powder puff shows use as does the soft fabric case...There are no chips or cracks in the mirror or in the mother of pearl...
