Vintage Kelvin & Wilfrid O. White Holosteric Barometer Brass France

Description

Item for sale is a vintage Kelvin & Wilfrid O. White brass ship's holosteric barometer.  Made in France.  Seems to be accurate as it reads the pressure in my area correctly and changes as the weather changes.  Brass is tarnished from age and handling, primarily on top.  Face of barometer is discolored around the periphery.  Has a ring for hanging and a screw on the back for adjustments.  Beveled glass covering on front.   Exact age is unknow but was made between 1919 and 1950 as the company was founded in 1919 and the name changed in 1950.  Please see all pictures for complete details.
