  • Condition: The compact appears to be old and is in fair condition. The hinge is good and it closes, but the mechanism that clicks shut is missing. The mirror is poor condition with black lines all over it. The powder is gone, but the fabric cover is still there. The compact really needs a good cleaning all over. I have not tried to clean this. It still has powder residue.

    Vintage Small Round Gold Empty Metal Powder Compact Victorian Couple
    This is a lovely small compact with a picture of a Victorian couple on the top. The compact appears to be old and is in fair condition. The hinge is good and it closes, but the mechanism that clicks shut is missing. The mirror is poor condition with black lines all over it. The powder is gone, but the fabric cover is still there. The compact really needs a good cleaning all over. I have not tried to clean this. It still has powder residue.
    Measures 2 3/8” in diameter and 3/8” deep.
