Black Plastic/Lucite/Bakelite Strips on Each Side of Compact.
Engraved inside in Cursive “Harriet Hubbard Ayer” (Also along outside edge
and “New York Distributor”)Rouge looks unused, Some Powder left and Mirror is cloudy (silvering).
Measures 3” C 3 ¼” ¼” deep.
Elgin America! Powder Compact.
Gold-tone with Lovely Cartouche Etched with Pinkish Flowers, the Etching looks like its Pinkish Gold. and Leaves Greenish Silver. Center of Cartouche is smooth for engraving or initials or name. Inside Mirror is perfect, Powder Case and Puff are Engraved “Elgin America” Compact comes in a Olive Green File Bag/Case that also says “Elgin America” Measures 3” X 2 ¼” and 3/8” deep.
Round Pill Box! Gold-tone with Fancy Gold-tone Filigree Feather Atop. White Enameled Lining (inside). Measures 1 ¾” in diameter.
All Pieces in Very Good Vintage condition . Mirror in Harriet Hubbard Ayer is cloudy. Hinges and clasps all in good working order. Estate Find!
